Privacy Policy
This policy explains how Reqorb handles personal data with regard to Hong Kong’s Personal Data (Privacy) Ordinance.
Information we collect
When you request a private briefing, we collect the information you choose to provide, including your name, email address, company or event context, approximate scope, platforms of interest, referral source and message. We may also receive limited technical data needed for security and basic site operation.
How we use information
We use inquiry information only to assess and respond to a briefing, prepare a confidential proposal, communicate about a potential engagement and deliver contracted work. We use aggregated, privacy-respecting analytics to understand site performance. We do not sell, rent or trade personal data.
Access and disclosure
Access is limited to people who need the information to review an inquiry or deliver an engagement. Service providers may process limited data on our behalf under appropriate controls. We may disclose information where required by law, to protect legal rights, or with your consent.
Retention
Unsuccessful or inactive inquiry records are ordinarily retained for up to 24 months so we can understand prior conversations, then deleted or anonymised unless law requires longer retention. Contract, invoice and project records may be retained for up to seven years after the engagement for legal and accounting purposes.
Cookies and analytics
We use only storage necessary for site operation and, where enabled, privacy-respecting analytics. We do not use cross-site advertising trackers. Browser controls can restrict cookies, although essential functions may be affected.
Security and international handling
We use reasonable technical and organisational safeguards, restricted access and secure transmission. Where information is handled outside Hong Kong for service delivery, we take reasonable steps to maintain appropriate protection. No internet transmission can be guaranteed completely secure.
Your rights
Subject to the PDPO, you may request access to or correction of personal data we hold about you. You may also ask about retention or request deletion where no legal reason requires continued storage. We may need to verify your identity before acting.
